Drunkards

As many of you would be aware, I do enjoy the occasional drink with my friends. This particular night had... quite a number of these occasions. My mate Rob, who is the most hilarious drunk, attempted to play Halo 3 (and by attempted I mean demanded that someone play against him). Hilarity ensues.




Note that at 0:46, rob does in fact get a kill, making the score 15-1.





My other mate, Taylor, was attempting sleep in this room with little success, so at the end of this video convinces Rob to give him the controller with the score at 22-1. Note that despite considerable levels of alcohol, Taylor manages to finish with the score at 25-23 in his favour.

Mute math mania

I t old you Mute Math mania was coming. Their new album, aside from being one of the only 2 albums ive given a full 5-star rating tot (the other being Sound Awake), 5 of the songs have made it to my top 25 most played. To put this in multiple perspectives, not only have i listened to the album primarily in the car (that is, not counted on the top 25 most played), but from the day i got it (tuesday) to the following monday, I hadn't listened to anything but songs from the album (and possibly a few radio songs while in a shopping centre, forgive me lord darren).

bored

I am bored. And i haven't posted a proper blog update in a while.

I have been playing Final Fantasy 7 recently. You know why? Cause it's freakin awesome!!! Sweetest game EVER!

It has such an intricate and well wound plot. There is character association, but because it predated pre-recorded speech, it isn't full on. Nor are you annoyed by the lack of dramatic timing cause it leaves it up to the imagination. It's great the 2nd time around cause I know a lot of what to do and am playing with a lot more strategy.

While i have 8% of battery life left and probably about 10mb of mobile broadband usage, i thought id post a blog update.

Im in Sydney. WOOO! Visiting my sis for her 21st. The party was awesome, Dad paid for the tab...so WIN!!!

Went to World Bar after that, and I can say, after 4 pots (they serve cocktails in tea-pots), i can sucessfully say 'World Bar' >>> GP-Hoe.

Anyway, I have a giant black spot in my memory after that, but this photo appeared on my iPhone, so it looks like i was prowling the cross...

Ok, battery dying. Update when i get back to brissie on tuesday.

So I just met Dylan Moran

You heard me. He came to the kiosk and asked me where a shoe store was. I stared at him, dumbfounded... and said 'Sorry... what?'. He spelt it out for me, looking uninterested and unamused. I told him i didnt know, sorry. He walked away and i blurted out 'I didnt know you were in brisbane'. He turned around, looking slightly satisfied that someone recognised him and said 'Well,  yes I am'. And took his kids down the hallway. 

On the way back, I offered him a westfield directory and he said "No, thank you I found the place" so i said "ok. thanks. and good luck, Dylan". He waved and walked away.

Yeah, I know the photo sucks, but I didnt want to seem like a TOTAL stalker.

This, without a doubt, counts as a WIN!

UQ Parking

So I was at uni, and i realised i'd just spent the last of my shrapnel on a red bull... so i searched around the car and found $3 in change. unfortunetly, the machines dont take 5c coins.... so I put this on the dash, hoping at least they would commend my hilarity and let me off.

They gave me a warning! I count that as a WIN.
