coast!

yo yo, faithful followers (so... debbie, basically)

so ive been at the coast this week. it's been... alright. as good as a holiday with the family can be, i suppose.

We had 'fake christmas' today. Meera (the younger of my 2 older sisters) made a really big deal out of it. We had some wine and cooked a nice lunch. The usual aggrivated discussion ensuded with Meera and anyone who would listen. It's getting incredingly difficult to surpress every one of my thoughts around my family. I cant express anything around them because the are all so opinionated, judgemental, left-wing, snobs. They dont even realise it.

Anyway, apparently we have access to a place on the gold coast. its on the 27th floor of the southport towers. its gorgeous, has a view of the entire gold coast. the only problem is the location. its not really in walking distance of the beach. its directly behind australia fair, so its really good for food/shopping, but beach-wise, you'd have to drive or bus.

well i kind of lost my thought now... i really just want to sleep. waiting for stevie wonder to sing on sentient overload obama innauguration...

adios!

about me... apparently

so..... i have a blog.

i dont really know why... but i do.

hurray!!!

well. im kiran. if you dont know me... then fuck off, you shouldnt be here.

A bit about me? sure, why not.

i am 18 years old, i live in gaywood (springwood), brisbane, Australia with my family (who are awesomly irritating). i have some great friends, some ok friends and some not so great friends.

I currently (only just) study commerce. Given  that i went to Brisbane Grammar School, the necessity to study wasnt exactly drilled into me, so i kinda fucked up my first year of uni by.... not going to anything. Hopefully this will change in 2009.

I also work for Dell Computers. I'm senior kiosk manager (and at the moment, acting Kiosk manager) for the Dell Garden City Kiosk. Its strange... there is a lot of down time, but when you need to engage customers, it's quite tricky to start fresh with every customer, no matter how you feel at the time or how they act. but i love talking to people, dealing with people, reading their emotions / reactions etc. It's quite a fun job. It also helps that dell is the market leader and has a massive competitive advantage over other companies.

And I also am the editor of the University of Queensland Student Magazine called 'Semper Floreat'. The thing is a piece of turd right now, but hopefully myself and john can pull it up to scratch and make it respectable. Again, a fair bit of work,  but the reward should be amazing if we get it right...

Well that's pretty much me in a nutshell. Well, the physical me. I'll probably get around to updating the emotional/mental me some day (i hope) but its 2:30am and i think i have to be up at 9.... probably not the best plan.

anyway, if anyone actually read this... kudos.

imma sleep nao
